  1. How to become a State Team Member to compete as a Team Member at the Pistol Australia National ISSF Championships at BISC in 2018

How to become an aspiring state team member, read the information, if you qualify, talk to someone to help you get involved or simply read the relevant Guidelines for the discipline you are interested in. Each discipline has it's own Guidelines for becoming a squad member, in short, if you have shot the qualifying score you simply complete the Nomination Form and send it to Pistol Shooting Queensland Office or contact the Team Manager for the event.

As you will note from the Guidelines, selection to the State Team is by achieving the Qualifying average and Qualifying score. The Guidelines put in place ensure selection is clear and objective so as to guarantee all members are selected fairly and equitable.

Coaching camps and specialist speakers assist in the development of an athlete and Pistol Shooting Queensland incorporates these activites into it's coaching budget when possible.

Pistol Shooting Queensland supports members who aspire to achieving this level of success.

Our first Coaching Session in 2017 was with one of the most famous pistol shooting athlete, 7 time Olympian, Swedish, Ragnar Skanaker. This was held on 12th February.
