Welcome to Pistol Shooting Queensland

Pistol Shooting Queensland (PSQ) is the state’s peak body for target pistol shooting, leading the growth, safety, and development of this exciting and challenging sport.

As part of Target Pistol Australia (TPA), our members have access to 23 nationally recognised events, inclusive categories for athletes with a disability, and pathways to international, Commonwealth, and Olympic Games.

With around 40 clubs across Queensland, PSQ provides leadership, training, and support for shooters of all experience levels. We also offer free coaching and officiating courses to help our members build skills and confidence both on and off the range.

Based at the Belmont Shooting Complex in Brisbane, our home – QAPSA House – proudly reflects our heritage and our commitment to a strong future for target pistol shooting in Queensland.
